In a heart-stopping moment, Mohammad Siraj of RCB fumbled a routine catch before grabbing it in his third juggling attempt as GT was bowled out for just 147 runs in IPL 2024.

Gujarat Titans batted first today against bottom placed Royal Challengers Bengaluru at Ahmedabad and failed miserably as RCB bowlers had a field day.

Mohammad Siraj had a rare impactful outing as he removed GT's opening pair, Subman Gill and Wriddhiman Saha, in his initial spell with the new ball. GT never recovered from the loss as RCB bowlers followed Siraj's cue to chip in regular wickets.

Meanwhile, GT were hanging on to the final wicket of Vijay Shankar with a hope of an impactful finish. However, Vyshak had other plans as he forced Shankar to hole out to third man with a deceptive slower delivery.

However, Mohammad Siraj, the man stationed at third man, fumbled the routine catch as it popped out of his hands. Siraj juggled the ball twice before holding on to it in his final attempt.

The RCB fans in the stadium had their hearts in the mount as Siraj pulled off a scary stunt in the field. Regardless, Siraj managed to evade a disaster and helped to restrict GT to a first-inning total of 147.

RCB's playoff hopes are reduced to mathematical equations, while GT has a lot to lose in this game.  But by its early looks, the chase seems like a cakewalk for RCB, barring a miracle from GT's bowling unit.
