Tabraiz Shamsi, the South African spinner has slammed ICC for their action against Usman Khawaja's peace gesture for Gaza. The Australian opener, Khawaja, has been at the center of controversy over his support for Gaza citizens in Israel-Hamas conflict.

He was seen wearing a black armband during the first Test match between Australia and Pakistan at Perth and was charged by ICC for his action after the Test. Khawaja criticised ICC's action and was then seen wearing shoes with an image of dove holding an olive branch -a universal symbol of peace. However, ICC did not approve Khawaja to use this on his bat during the Boxing Day Test at MCG, mentioning that it is against Clause F of the Clothing and Equipment Regulations.

Usman Khawaja has highlighted ICC's double standards after that move explaining how other players were allowed to promote their cause but he is not. Cummins has supported his teammate along with Michael Holding and now, Tabraiz Shamsi has also questioned ICC's action terming it as double standards.

It would be interesting to see how ICC tackles this criticism and how Usman Khawaja goes about this business in the Boxing Day Test at MCG.
