MI's newly appointed captain Hardik Pandya is facing continuous criticism and boos in the stadium as well as outside the ground after the change of captaincy the same incident took place when he entered the ground for the toss against RR, he encountered a chorus of boos from the fans at the ground.

Talking about the game, MI batted first after losing a vital toss and lost early wickets in the form of Rohit Sharma who was dismissed for a golden duck. Rajasthan Royals bowler Trent Boult also scalped two more wickets in the form of Naman Dhir and Dewald Brevis.

The two batters registered golden ducks and Mumbai batting collapsed in no time. Hardik Pandya's knock of 34 runs in 21 balls did provide some relief but MI still finished with a below-par total and RR despite losing early wickets, ended up winning the game comfortably.

Mumbai Indians have failed to perform well and have lost three games in a row against Gujarat Titans, Sunrisers Hyderabad and Rajasthan Royals and it is high time that they get their act together before it all gets too late for the five-time defending champions.
