[Watch] Old Friends Re-Unite As Warner Meets Former SRH Teammates, Williamson And Rashid Khan

In the ongoing 40th game of the IPL, the Delhi Capitals (DC) are taking on the Gujarat Titans (GT) at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi. Currently, GT and DC are placed at the 6th and 8th positions respectively on the points table.  Both sides need to win tonight's match in order to maintain their hopes of making the playoffs.

In the meantime, David Warner of the Delhi Capitals and players Kane Williamson and Rashid Khan of the Gujarat Titans had met in Delhi before the game. Before changing teams in the auction, they were teammates  at Sunrisers Hyderabad squad. For the 3 alumni of Sunrisers Hyderabad, this is somewhat of a reunion.

Gujarat Titans posted a video featuring their two titans, Rashid and Williamson, along with David Warner. The Titans' social media handle welcomed David Warner as the latest South Indian superstar, as he is loved in Hyderabad and Telugu-speaking states for his Telugu content reels. 

Warner regularly create content related to popular Telugu movies like 'Pushpa', 'Baahubali', and others, which contributed to his popularity there. Warner has a strong fan base in the South and he had recently featured in an ad with SS Rajamouli the director of Bahubali.

The trio shares a lot of memories together, including the 2016 IPL win. Warner and Williamson led the SRH side in different seasons, with Rashid Khan being their strongest weapon.
