As the time nears for the commencement of the upcoming edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL), all players are busy laying out the finishing touches to their pre-season training.

Two young superstars, who have a bright future for their respective nations India and South Africa, Tilak Varma and Dewald Brevis are sweating it out in the nets for Mumbai Indians ahead of their first match against Gujarat Titans on March 24.

Both players are known for bringing the X factor to the table and play unorthodox shots to perfection making them tough prospects for bowlers.

During their net session, both Varma and Brevis executed outrageous shots, which went against text-book cricket, which says the batter should always play in the 'V', which is the front of the wicket.

However, this new-age generational does not believe in the conventional, as Varma and Brevis played behind the stumps which is also a 'V' but in the opposite direction.

Riding on back of good two IPL seasons, Varma made his India last year, playing four One-Day Internationals, and 16 T20Is, accumulating 404 runs. Brevis, 20, too made his South Africa debut last year, featuring in two T20Is.
