In a significant development, prominent Afghanistan spinner Rashid Khan has re-entered the top ten of the ICC men's T20I bowler rankings.

The spin maestro recently enjoyed stellar success in Afghanistan's home T20I series against Ireland, claiming eight wickets in three appearances at a stunning average of 5.63 and an economy rate of 3.75.

His extraordinary performance, which led the Afghans to a remarkable 2-1 series win, saw him jump four places up to number nine in the ICC T20I bowler rankings.

Among others, Rashid's national teammate Naveen-ul-Haq also went two slots up to 55th, with the Irish trio of Josh Little (up seven positions to 39th), Mark Adair (up two positions to 56th) and Barry McCarthy (up 15 positions to 77th) also making significant gains on the list led by ace English spinner Adil Rashid.

Meanwhile, swashbuckling Indian batter Suryakumar Yadav still occupies the top position in the batter rankings despite missing out on several assignments due to a sports hernia

Veteran Bangladesh cricketer Shakib Al Hasan is the top-ranked T20I allrounder, while Ireland's Gareth Delany, courtesy of his recent exploits, also improved four places to 18th.

Talking about the ODI rankings, Lankan opener Pathum Nissanka has made it into the top ten batter rankings following his clinical show against Bangladesh. Nissanka, who scored 151 runs in the series, has moved three places up to number eight.

Their victorious campaign against the Lankans has also helped the Bangladesh players gain significantly in the ODI rankings.

While Mushfiqur Rahim (up six spots to 26th), Towhid Hridoy (up 12 spots to equal 26th), and Najmul Hossain Shanto (up ten places to 39th) have progressed remarkably, talented seamer Shoriful Islam has jumped eleven ranks to claim the 24th position in the bowler rankings.
