Kent wicket-keeper batter Ollie Robinson shared a light moment while batting with the veteran all-rounder Darren Stevens in a Royal London One Day Cup fixture against Worcestershire.

Robinson slammed a blistering 206 not out in the ongoing Royal London Cup 2022 which was a List A record for Kent. Kent legend Joe Denly previously held the record with 150 not out, set by him against Glamorgan in 2018. However, Robinson eclipsed that and now is the new record holder for Kent.

Riding on his innings, Kent chased down a 352 target with 5.1 overs to spare in their opening Royal London Cup encounter with Worcestershire at New Road.

As Kent chased down what had looked like a daunting target of 352 targets, Robinson made a mockery of the opposition bowling by smashing his maiden List A double hundred.

Impressed with his batting, Kent legend Darren Stevens sarcastically asked- 'How are you doing this?'

"He was just laughing at me," Ollie Robinson said. "And saying: 'How are you doing this?' But it was lovely to bat with him and hear the things he was saying to me while I was batting with him. It was just a lovely moment really.”

The ex-England U19 cricketer's current contract expires with Kent at the end of the 2023 season, though an agreement was included in the deal that would allow him to explore other options a year early if certain criteria weren't met.

Robinson, who captained Kent in red-ball cricket earlier this season but was sent out on loan to Durham for the T20 Blast. However, now he is expected to remain an integral part of the team across formats.
