Punjab Kings could be without their talismanic batter, Liam Livingstone for the crucial IPL 2024 match against the Gujarat Titans.

The England all-rounder suffered a hamstring injury during Punjab's match against LSG, a couple of days ago. He did come out to bat, but that affected his running between the wickets.

Livingstone likely to miss GT clash

The injury also affected his batting, in a match that PBKS lost from a position of victory. There is a slight chance that he could play a part in PBKS-GT IPL clash, but that depends if he manages to clear the fitness test.

Livingstone is an integral member of the PBKS squad and the team management is unlikely to play him, even if he is 90% fit for the match against Gujarat Titans.

In case, Livingstone is not fit enough to take any part in today's IPL match, then PBKS do have an ideal replacement in the form of Sikandar Raza, who is warming the bench. Moreover, they can also bring in Rilee Rossow, who was bought in by the franchise in the IPL auction a couple of months ago.

So far, the Punjab Kings have had a rocky IPL campaign. They started off the tournament with a win over Delhi Capitals, but have lost back-to-back matches against RCB and LSG.
