CSK's decision to appoint Ruturaj Gaikwad as the new captain signals a shift away from the MS Dhoni era, during which Dhoni played a pivotal role in establishing CSK as one of the most successful franchises globally.

Just as Sachin Tendulkar is synonymous with Mumbai Indians, Dhoni's association with CSK is deeply ingrained.
