Riding on the magnificent knocks of Colin Munro and Tom Kohler-Cadmore, Trent Rockets' outclassed London Spirit by six wickets in the 20th match of the ongoing 100-ball tournament at Trent Bridge on Saturday, August 20.

After bowling out the London Spirit for 122, Trent batters looked in a real hurry as they overwhelmed the target in 79 deliveries and dethroned the Eoin Morgan-led side from the top of the table.

Trent Rockets' were rocked early in their 123-run chase as they lost their opener, Dawid Malan for a diamond duck. Alex Hales also couldn't stay longer and was sent packing by Nathan Ellis for just six runs.

However, the two early wickets did not do anything to disturb the momentum of the batting side. The match eventually turned out to be one-way traffic with Colin Munro and Tom Kohler-Cadmore putting up a match-winning 85-run stand for the third wicket.

While Cadmore scored 41 off 28 balls, the New Zealander remained unbeaten for 37-ball 67. Munro's half-century knock was laced with half a dozen fours and 4 towering sixes. For London Spirit, Chris Wood, Daniel Lawrence, and Nathan Ellis scalped a wicket each.

Earlier the Trent Rockets' bowlers came down on the London batters like a ton of bricks and folded them up for just 122 runs in 92 deliveries.

They never allowed the Eoin Morgan-led side to find their feet in the middle and kept delivering crushing blows time-and-time-again.

Daniel Bell Drummond (24), Ben McDermott (30), and Eoin Morgan (27) were the only three who could get their hands on double figures while their other batters cut a sorry figure with the bat and failed to breach the 10-run mark.

For Trent Rockets, the Spin Wizard Rashid Khan bowled a remarkable spell, picking up three wickets for 25 runs. The likes of Luke Wood (2/20), Samuel James Cook (2/13), and Samit Patel (2/29) further derailed London's batting lineup.
