Superstar Indian cricketer Virat Kohli lavished high praise on all-rounder Hardik Pandya, stating that the latter looks like a 'changed man.

Hardik may not have had a day to remember against Pakistan on Sunday but he has been absolutely sensational this calendar year- both as captain and as an all-rounder.

Hardik led the Gujarat Titans to title glory in their maiden IPL season earlier this year, and apart from his performances from bat and ball, it was his calmness as a leader which stood out.

The seam-bowling all-rounder spearheaded India to an ODI series win in England earlier this summer before finishing off in style with the bat against arch-rivals Pakistan last weekend.

Virat, who smashed his 2nd consecutive 50 in the ongoing Asia Cup on Sunday, believes that Hardik has matured as an individual and hence, realising his true potential now.

Here's what Virat Kohli said on Hardik Pandya

"He's actually realised his potential and what he can actually do. Coming out of the recently concluded IPL, he understands his importance and looks like a changed man,"

Kohli was also lavish in his praise for Suryakumar Yadav, stating that there are very few players in the world that can bat like the latter does.

Surya has been at the peak of his powers in the shortest format of the game for a few years now.

He lit up the Asia Cup with an audacious knock against Hong Kong. Yadav looked in pristine touch on Sunday as well but he failed to kick on and was dismissed for a 10-ball 13 by Mohammad Nawaz.

"See there are a very few players in the world than can bat like he does and I have always said it once he gets going it becomes very difficult to stop him,"

Surya, however, will be disappointed with back-to-back low scores against Pakistan. He will look to rectify it in the next meeting.
