Andre Russell is enjoying a redemption season, showcasing his efficiency with both bat and ball for KKR. After the match against Delhi Capitals, Andre Russell became the seventh player in IPL history to score 200-plus sixes for a single franchise. He joined the esteemed company of players like Virat Kohli (242 sixes for RCB), Chris Gayle (239 sixes for RCB), AB de Villiers (238 sixes for RCB), Kieron Pollard (223 sixes for MI), MS Dhoni (212 sixes for CSK), and Rohit Sharma (210 sixes for MI).

KKR thrashed DC in a historic win

KKR beat DC by 106 runs at Vizag last night. Narine, Russel and Angkrish played important knocks to secure this win. 

Russell scored 41 runs from 19 balls and he was taken out by a superb delivery from Ishant Sharma. The strong start KKR needed came from Sunil Narine and Angkrish Raghuvanshi. Russell and Rinku then finished off what they started, contributing to KKR's formidable total of 272 runs in 20 overs. In return, DC got all out for 166 runs in 18th over.
