Liam Livingstone, the swashbuckling English all-rounder has not been included in Punjab Kings XI for the game against Gujarat Titans because of the injury he suffered in the game against LSG.

The Englishman has been replaced by Sikandar Raza as Punjab Kings have won the toss and elected to field first. It is Raza's first game of IPL 2024 and with plenty of match-winning performances under his belt coming into the tournament, he will be looking to make an impact in this game.


Why Is Liam Livingstone Not Playing?

Liam Livingstone, on the other hand, suffered an hamstring while fielding and though, he came out to bat, he did look in lot of pain and struggled to move freely. His injury though is not that serious, and he is likely to make a comeback in the next game.

Along with Livingstone, Rahul Chahar is also not playing for Punjab Kings as Sikandar Raza can give them four overs of spin and they have decided to go with an extra batter in this game. For GT, Miller is not playing due to niggle and Kane Williamson is all set to play his first game of IPL 2024.
