Lucknow Super Giants will face the challenge of Royal Challengers Bangalore in Match 15 of the Indian Premier League 2023 on Monday (April 10) at the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium.

LSG have secured victories in two out of their three league matches and are looking like a well-oiled unit. In their last appearance, the KL Rahul-led side secured a clinical victory by chasing down the target of 122 against Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH).

On that note, let's take a look at the probable Playing XI of LSG against RCB:

Top-order: KL Rahul, Kyle Mayers, Quinton de Kock

Although LSG captain KL Rahul did not contribute in a significant fashion in the first two matches, he delivered a 35-run knock in his latest outing. His partner, Kyle Mayers has been sensational with 139 runs in three innings and is the top-scorer for the franchise.

Given Mayers' impressive form, Quinton de Kock might bat at No. 3 in this game, due to his proven ability against the spinners. Recently, Quinton hit a 43-ball century against West Indies in a T20I fixture, and will be upbeat ahead of this game.

Middle Order: Deepak Hooda, Krunal Pandya, Nicholas Pooran,  Ayush Badoni

In the last game, Deepak Hooda batted at No.3, but he might be coming one position lower in this game, if Mayers and Quinton feature in the XI. Then, Krunal Pandya, who was named as Player of the Match in the last game will provide stability in the middle-order.

At number six, Nicholas Pooran will be key to the team due to his ball-striking abilities, and is a designated finisher. Then, it might be a Ayush Badoni or Krishnappa Gowtham, depending upon the match situation and team management's decision.

Bowlers: Amit Mishra, Mark Wood, Avesh Khan, Ravi Bishnoi

LSG possess a quality bowling attack with good experience in the T20s. The last game witnessed Mark Wood and Avesh Khan missing the game due to injury concerns. However, both pacers are likely to be part of the XI in this game.

Ravi Bishnoi has impressed with his wicket-taking abilities, and would look to continue the same form. The veteran Amit Mishra, who took two wickets in the last game is likely to retain his place.
