Babar Azam To Drop Usama Mir & Zaman Khan? Pakistan's Probable XI For 5th T20I vs NZ

On Saturday, Pakistan and New Zealand will cross swords against each other in the decider of the ongoing five-match T20I series.

While the first match ended without a result, Pakistan secured a commanding seven-wicket win in the subsequent affair in Rawalpindi.

However, the BlackCaps made a tremendous comeback under Michael Bracewell's leadership, defeating the hosts on two consecutive occasions.

So, considering they are trailing by 2-1, it's a must-win encounter for Pakistan, who would be desperate for a victory to avoid a home series defeat.

The Men in Green have performed several experiments, which have cost them two games on the trot.

While their plan to form a settled combination before the T20 World Cup is understandable, the abysmal return from several key players has emerged as a massive headache for the hosts.

Looking ahead to the final match, Pakistan might consider replacing Usama Mir, who had a tough time in the fourth T20I, conceding 43 runs in his four-over spell.

Zaman Khan, who took the wicket of Tom Blundell but gave away 35 runs in his three overs, could also be on the chopping block.

If Mir is dropped, Abrar Ahmed could be his replacement, while Shaheen Afridi is a likely candidate to take Zaman's place in the bowling line-up.
