In an unfortunate turn of events, David Warner called it quits on his Test career last week. After serving Australia in 112 Tests, the opening batter hung his boots after the conclusion of a three-game red ball series against Pakistan. Meanwhile, Afghanistan spin phenomenon Rashid Khan was the latest to join the masses in paying tribute to Warner.

That being said, David Warner witnessed the fairytale ending he dreamt of. He took a final victory lap in front of his home crowd in Sydney and bid a tearful goodbye to his teammates and fans alike.

Rashid Khan Pays Tribute To David Warner!

Rashid took to his X handle to applaud the Aussie's extraordinary Test career. Khan added how he enjoyed watching Warner play over the years and reckoned that red-ball cricket would miss its greatest warrior dearly.
