Kieron Pollard returns to Mumbai for his second consecutive season, now assuming the role of batting coach for the team. As he settles into his new position, Pollard warmly greets the return of Hardik Pandya, reminiscing about their time partners on the field. 

Kieron Pollard stands tall as one of the most iconic figures in Mumbai's cricket history. His influence transcends mere words, shaping the team's identity in profound ways. Since his signing in 2010, everything shifted dramatically. 

Pollard's mere presence injected a new sense of confidence into Mumbai's squad, characterised by his relentless "never give up" attitude. Players like Hardik Pandya have been inspired by Pollard's leadership, carrying forward this high spirit on the field. 


Pollard Confident in Hardik's Success in New Role

Pollard expresses his happiness at having Hardik back in the team, especially in his new captaincy role. With no doubts in his mind, Pollard believes that Hardik will excel in his new capacity at Mumbai. Having spent 5-6 seasons with the team and being a part of 4 title-winning occasions, Hardik's experience and familiarity with the Mumbai setup make him well-equipped to thrive in this new role. The absence of Pollard in Mumbai Indians is simply inconceivable.
