M. Siddharth, a young Tamil Nadu domestic player playing for Lucknow Super Giants in IPL, has impressed  everyone yesterday vs RCB with his bowling . LSG is known for finding hidden bowling talents and making them shine. 

While pacer Mayank Yadav grabs headlines again, young M Siddharth made a good impact yesterday vs RCB and he kept his word to coach Justin Langer by taking Kohli's wicket. 

Siddharth took out legendary Virat Kohli in the match against RCB, which is a dream for any young bowler. Siddharth celebrate the wicket wildly as he know how pricy that wicket was.

Siddharth's promise to Langer

Lucknow Super Giants' coach, Justin Langer, had just one message for young spinner M. Siddharth after seeing him bowl in the nets: "Get Virat Kohli out." Siddharth promised to do that and that's what Siddharth exactly done in the game, taking Virat out and making things easy for LSG at Chinnaswamy. 

Siddharth admired Irfan Pathan and aspired to be a pacer like him. However, lacking pace, coaches suggested he switch to spin due to his ability to swing the ball. 

Over time, he improved his skills and added pace variation, making it challenging for batters to predict his deliveries that trapped even someone like Kohli.


LSG in a winning spree with their bowling strength

LSG secured their second consecutive victory in the IPL by defeating RCB at their home ground, Chinnaswamy Stadium. The 21-year-old pacer, Mayank Yadav, played a pivotal role with his exceptional bowling performance.

However, before Yadav entered the game, it was spinners M. Siddharth and Krunal Pandya who took charge during the powerplay overs, bowling against RCB's captain, Faf du Plessis, and the prolific Virat Kohli. 

Siddharth, in particular who came as the impact player, made a significant contribution by dismissing Virat Kohli, who is the Orange Cap holder in IPL 2024.
