Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) will host Gujarat Titans (GT) at M Chinnaswamy stadium, Bengaluru, in the 52nd match of the IPL 2024 on May 4th.

Ahead of the thrilling clash, RCB head coach Andy Flower shared his insights on the team batting line-up  and their seam attack.

The former Zimbabwe skipper appreciated RCB's batting performance, saying he would love to see the Bengaluru team bat in front of the most loyal fanbase.

RCB head coach on pace attack

“Our batsmen will definitely be looking to bat out there in the middle not only on a good batting deck but in front of our brilliant crowd. What I have enjoyed seeing is our fast bowling unit bowling in a really attacking fashion," he said.

He also highlighted RCB pacers' improved performance in the powerplay and couldn't stop himself from praising Siraj and Yash Dayal. He further said:

"We have seen them take more wickets in the powerplay in the last three games. So we are looking at seeing more of the attacking fast bowling from the likes of Yash Dayal and particularly Siraj who has been outstanding particularly with his yorkers.”

This match against Gujarat Titans will be crucial for RCB, who will play for their pride and try to promote themselves up in the IPL 2024 points table
