Former Australian cricketer Ian Chappell foresees a fiercely contested battle as India braces to take on England in the final leg of the Test series. With the series tied at 1-1 post the thrilling encounter in Vizag, both teams are gearing up for a showdown in Rajkot after a brief respite.

Chappell acknowledged India's home advantage but underscores the formidable challenge posed by England under the dynamic leadership of Ben Stokes. He asserted:

"As the home side, India should eventually win a tough series, but it has a real battle on their hands. England under the aggressive leadership of Stokes are a far cry from the poorly captained Joe Root team that capitulated against spin on their last tour of the country."

The veteran cricketer praises Stokes for instigating a remarkable transformation within the English squad, emphasizing their tactical prowess and ability to unsettle opponents. 

"Much of England's success has been attributed to Bazball - the desire to score quickly and tactically rattle the opposition - but this is a misnomer. What Stokes has really done is set out to achieve victory from ball one by playing aggressive cricket in all aspects of the game," Chappell told ESPNcricinfo.

Stokes' England secured a victory in the opening Test in Hyderabad but stumbled in Vizag, despite India missing key players. As the series progresses to Rajkot, all eyes are on Stokes and his men to mount a resilient challenge against Rohit Sharma's formidable Indian side.
