We are just one sleep away from witnessing the most exciting encounter of the 2023 World Cup, with India set to take on five-time champions Australia in the final at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. Led by Rohit Sharma, India stormed their way through to the final, recording ten consecutive wins. From batting to bowling, the Men in Blue have left no stone unturned to outclass their opponents.

Meanwhile, Australia, under the courageous leadership of Pat Cummins, have showcased their fighting spirit, qualifying for the final with eight successive victories after starting the tournament with two crushing defeats.

Both teams have performed exceptionally in the competition, setting the tone for a cracking finish to the enthralling tournament.

However, how will the winner be decided if rain plays spoilsport in the final?

What If World Cup Final Is Abandoned Due To Rain?

As already mentioned by the ICC, the knockout matches of the World Cup have reserve days. So, if it rains on Sunday, the final match will resume on Monday, November 20, from where it got interrupted.

However, if, by any means, the game doesn't resume and gets called off due to rain or whatever reason, India and Australia will be declared as the joint winners of the 2023 World Cup.

But if we talk about the forecast, a bright and sunny day is predicted in Ahmedabad for tomorrow. So, in all likelihood, we will witness a full-fledged riveting contest between the two finalists at the world's biggest cricket stadium.
