Pakistan speedster Naseem Shah shot himself to unprecedented fame shortly after making his international debut as a 16-year-old. Apart from bagging 50 international caps to date, the cricketer has also featured in England's T20 Blast competition for teams like Gloucestershire and Leicestershire.

Known for his new-ball dexterity and deadly yorkers in the slog overs, Shah once unfurled an unplayable delivery to Surrey opener Will Jacks during one of Gloucestershire's South Group games of the 2022 T20 Blast season.

As Naseem Shah continues to work his way back into Pakistan's national setup here at OneCricket, we take a look back at one of the best dismissals orchestrated by this prodigious bowling talent.

When Naseem Shah cleaned up Surrey opener

Naseem Shah represented the Gloucestershire team in the 2022 T20 Blast season. During their South Group game against Surrey at The Oval on May 31, the speedster opened the bowling for his side along with David Payne.

While bowling to a well-set Surrey opener, Will Jacks, in the 12th over of the innings, the speedster rattled the latter's stumps to stem their run-scoring flow in the slog overs. Shah unleashed a peach of a delivery, later described as an "unplayable yorker" by the social media handles of T20 Blast.

Naseem Shah has not played a single match for Pakistan ever since he sustained an injury against India at the 2023 Asia Cup in Sri Lanka. The injury prompted him to miss the entire 2023 World Cup in India as well as Pakistan's three-match Test tour of Australia.

In January this year, Shah was spotted bowling in the nets as he continues to make a rapid recovery.

Slated to represent the Islamabad United franchise in the PSL 2024 season, recent reports indicate that the youngster might well be making his return to competitive cricket through the tournament.
