Hayley Matthews is on a good run ever-since the Women's T20 World Cup. She was one of the stars of the West Indian team and continued that rich vein of form in the recently concluded Women's Premier League (WPL) as well.
In the ongoing finals of the FairBreak T20 Tournament, Matthews played the innings of her life and tore apart the Falcons women's team with one of the most astonishing hitting ever-witnessed.
Falcons won the toss and asked the Warriors women's team to bat first. Chasing has been a trend in this tournament, but perhaps it back-fired this time around as Matthews was relentless and smoked sixes after sixes to unsettle the bowlers.

She smashed 9 huge sixes, out of which one even went out of the ground. Moreover, the West Indian smacked 11 boundaries in a ruthless assault to bring up a scintillating century in the finals.
By the time Matthews was dismissed, the power-hitter had garnered 123 off a mere 52 deliveries, with a strike-rate of 236.
Warriors eventually managed a mammoth 230 for 4 in their allotted 20 overs.
