In a major development, promising Australian pacer Lance Morris has extended his stay in Perth Scorchers camp for two more seasons.

The seamer has renewed his contract, which will see him represent the defending champions in the thirteenth and fourteenth season of the tournament.

In his reaction, Morris seemed delighted to be a part of the Scorchers for two more seasons. He also looked determined to evolve as a bowler under the guidance of the Scorchers' coaching staff.

Here's what Morris stated

"We’ve got great coaches, staff and players, and it’s a pretty exciting time to be part of the organisation. I’m definitely striving to improve with the white ball and looking for any opportunity to better myself."

Regarded as the wild thing, Morris grabbed a million eyeballs through his scorching pace and rigorous seam movement in the Australian domestic circuit.

He has been a force to reckon with for Western Australia in red-ball cricket, scalping 59 wickets at a superb strike rate of 41.2 in 18 First-Class appearances.

The 24-year-old has been equally effective in T20s, troubling the batters with his pace and accuracy.

Recently, Morris enjoyed decent success in the Big Bash League, claiming nine wickets at an economy of 6.85.
