Rishabh Pant is a player with exceptional talent; however, his inconsistency sometimes makes him look silly. Pant's form lately has been worrying for Team India when players like Sanju Samson, Ishan Kishan, and KS Bharat sit on the bench.

Nobody can deny the 25-year-old's calibre in Tests. Still, with his white-ball performances having dipped, his place in the side is regularly being questioned by fans and experts.

Former India opener Krishnamachari Srikkanth believes that giving the youngster a break from international cricket will help. Speaking on his YouTube channel, Srikkanth also criticized the management for how they have handled Pant.

Here's what Srikkanth stated

"Maybe you can give him (Pant) a break and tell him ‘just wait a bit, come and play in India’, they haven’t handled him well. Are you going to wait for a couple of matches before giving him a break or remove him after one or two games? ,

"Yes, Rishabh Pant is not utilising the chances he’s getting. I am very disappointed."

During India's ongoing tour of New Zealand, Pant managed just 33 runs in the three T20Is, scoring 15 in the first ODI.

The World Cup-winning player advised Pant to spend time in the middle and try to reinvent himself.
