After a brutal loss at Multan against England, Babar Azam and Pakistan have gotten under a turmoil of backlashes.

A buzz has been created about their match-winners not performing under pressure. Meanwhile, some have also asked them to step down from the Test format and concentrate more on the easy-rewarding T20 format.

During the post-match press conference after the Multan defeat, the Pakistan skipper Babar Azam received utter heat from the media personnel.

A journalist even asked the skipper and his deputy Mohammad Rizwan to step down from the longest format to focus on T20s.

While replying to the journalist, Babar responded, "sorry, we won't be doing that".

"Listen, it's like if we perform, then it's said they performed against weaker oppositions in an easy situation. And when it doesn't get pulled off, we also get bashed. But we also need to look at the Australia match (the Karachi Test); I was the one who performed," Babar answered.

With the Multan defeat, Pakistan has not only been knocked out of the race to the WTC final but also lost a home Test series to England after 22 long years.
