AUS vs ENG: Aaron Finch completes 3000 T20I runs

Aaron Finch becomes the first Australian batter to complete 3000 T20I runs. Overall he becomes the 6th batter to reach the milestone. Finch needed 12 runs heading into the 1st T20I against England ahead of the T20 World Cup 2022.

Australia won the toss & decided to bowl first. Thanks to Jos Buttler & Alex Hales heroics they posted a mammoth total of 208 runs. While batting second Australia were 86-2 after 8.3 overs when Finch walked in to bat. 

The Fun Fact of Finch's Milestone

While completing the milestone, Finch managed to run himself out. He needed a run to get to the 3000 T20I runs, the Australian skipper tried converting it into a double and ended up losing his wicket as he become the first ever Australian batter with 3000 T20I runs. 

Warner is the second highest run scorer for Australia in T20Is behind his skipper. At the time of writing Australia were 122-3 after 12 overs. Warner 53* (32 balls) & Stoinis 9*(5 balls)
