Ahead of the massive game against England in the semi-finals of the T20 World Cup 2022, India's head coach Rahul Dravid has spoken on the changes in the playing eleven. According to former Indian skipper, anyone in the squad is capable of playing the next match without worrying about the combination.

He also mentioned that team could draft in anyone based on conditions which are most likely to suit spinners. Hence, what it suggests is that Yuzvendra Chahal might get the nod to feature in Adelaide if conditions permit.

His standpoint was that India's bench strength is so good that whoever gets the chance will be equivalent to his replacement. Further, he mentioned that during the game against Bangladesh, the pitch wasn't supportive enough of spinners but hopefully, would turn in the upcoming game.

What Dravid said on team changes

“I think we have a completely open mind about everyone in our 15. We believe anybody who comes into the 15 will not potentially make us weaker, the kind of squad we've picked. Anybody that we need to pick will actually not make us a weaker squad. Again, we'll have to go there and see. I watched some of the games (in Adelaide) today and I know the tracks were slow and they gripped and they turned a bit,

Also, he said that they could be playing on a new track which might be different from the previous one they played on.

“We might be playing on a completely new strip in Adelaide, and the strip we played with against Bangladesh, to be honest, did not spin. It was, again, a different kind of wicket, and it was played at Adelaide, as well. I think I can't sit here now just after a game and predict what's going to happen there.”

India's semi-final game against England will be played on 10th November at Adelaide Oval.
