Trinbago Knight Riders registered a 26-run victory over the Guyana Amazon Warriors in Match 18 of Caribbean Premier League 2022 at Port of Spain.

Knight Riders post a competitive total on the board

Invited to bat first, Knight Riders lost their in-form openers early. However, the proficient batters Colin Munro (42) and Tim Seifert (27) were clinical to resurrect the team's innings.

Narine's demotion to the middle-order worked again, as he contributed 26 off 20, which propelled Knight Riders to a total of 150. On the flip side, the struggles of Andre Russell and Kieron Pollard continued.

Russell, Hosein secure second victory for Knight Riders

In response to the chase, Warriors top-order batters, Paul Stirling and Colin Ingram again failed to provide notable contributions. It was the in-form pair of Chandrapaul Hemraj (28) and Heinrich Klaasen (19), which put the team back on track.

Shimron Hetmyer garnered 20 off 16, before becoming a victim to Russell, which certainly opened the floodgates for Knight Riders.

The experienced bowling unit of Knight Riders ran down the Warriors line-up in quick succession, and dismissed them for 124.

Russell and Akeal Hosein scalped three wickets each, followed by Narine with two scalps.
