The four Rachael Heyhoe Flint Trophy fixtures scheduled to be played on Friday, September 9 were called off following the demise of Queen Elizabeth II, with England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) ensuring the rescheduling of all matches.

However, now it has been confirmed that the fixtures will not be rearranged, and all four teams will be awarded two points each and all the called-off matches will be treated as no-result fixtures.

If reports are to be believed, efforts were made to rearrange all four Rachael Heyhoe Flint Trophy fixtures later in the season, however, it has not been possible to accommodate them into the current busy domestic schedule.

As a result, the table topper Southern Vipers, and Northern Diamonds, both tied up with 24 points and will easily qualify for the knockout stages. The South East Stars, moving to 21 points, are also assured of qualification for the knockout phase.

The final round of group fixtures is scheduled to be played on Saturday, September 17, with Northern Diamonds taking on Southern Vipers at Old Trafford in Manchester and South East Stars locking horns with Lightning.

Central Parks and Sunrisers are also set to take on each other on Saturday. However, the match between two bottom-placed teams will be a mere dead rubber with both teams already out of knockout contention.

The second and third-placed playoffs will then take place on Wednesday, September 21, with the winner set to square off against the first-placed team at Lord's on Sunday, September 25.
