Expected to win over Zimbabwe, visitors Bangladesh find themselves on the wrong side of the results, with the hosts leading the three-match ODI series 0-2.

The first two ODIs in Harare witnessed Zimbabwe chase down massive totals of 304 and 291, respectively, thanks to centuries from Sikandar Raza.

Bangladesh head coach Russell Domingo has expressed his frustration at losing games despite being in a position of control across both games, and lashed out at his players.

"It's very frustrating to see the mistakes because we seem to be making them more regularly than we should. We talked about it and we are trying to work on it but then under pressure players seems to make same mistake and that is an area of concern for us."

"In both games they were 16 for 3 and 40 for 4 and then boys just didn't deal with the pressure well enough. Too many soft balls, too many balls bowled to the wrong field and wrong options taken. Boys are trying but they are not learning quickly and they are making the same mistakes over and over again," Domingo said.

Domingo praises  Zimbabwe and Sikandar Raza

In both games, Bangladesh had Zimbabwe on the back foot, getting four quick wickets, before they found resistance from Raza.

Raza added 201 runs in the second ODI along with Regis Chakabva and snitched a 192-run stand with Innocent Kaia in the first game.

''I think you got to give credit to Zimbabwe and Sikandar in particular as he played fantastically well. Two of the better one-day hundreds you will find under pressure."

"Look we probably know we left 20 runs out yesterday, maybe 20 runs out today... we could have got more and it's very difficult to defend in the afternoon and Zimbabwe thoroughly deserve the win and they outplayed us in both days. No excuses."

After losing two back to back ODI matches, Bangladesh will look to help themselves from a whitewash in the third and final ODI, which will be played on Wednesday.
