Australia Women's retained their Ashes trophy after defeating England Women by 89 runs on the 5th day of the only Test match. Ashleigh Gardener was adjudged the player of the match for her tremendous bowling performance with a record-setting figure of  8/66 in the second innings as England Women's were bowled out for 178.

In a breathtaking display of skill and determination, Ashleigh mesmerised the cricket world with her extraordinary performance in the one-off Test. Her name will now forever be etched in Australian cricket history, as she claimed a staggering 12 wickets, surpassing all previous records.
