Azam Khan, the star wicket-keeper batter from Pakistan, was visibly enjoying himself during the Global T20 Canada 2023 clash of Surrey Jaguars versus Mississauga Panthers, especially when Mohammad Haris, his compatriot, came out to bat.

Putting to bat first, Mississauga Panthers were bowled out for 56 runs in 14.3 overs. In reply, Mohammad Haris and Iftikhar Ahmed put together an unbeaten stand of 30 runs to chase down the target in just nine overs.

Meanwhile, Azam Khan did everything in his power to break the rhythm and partnership of Mohammad Haris and Iftikhar Ahmed. He engaged in playful banter from behind the stumps, going as far as singing and adding a melodious twist to his appeal when Haris narrowly missed the ball.

Not just this, Khan started off a lively conversation with Haris, trying to lure him into attempting big shots. The strategy paid off when Haris finally went for a massive heave into the leg side, but the ball took an under-edge, hitting his pad and narrowly missing the stumps.

Azam Khan, who looked in a completely fun mood, seemed to lose sight of the ball, as he expected it to top edge instead of an under-edge. In a confusion, he looked up at the sky and spun around in circles to find the ball.

Meanwhile, Haris, who saw the ball couldn't hold back his laughter, watching Khan continue to twirl behind him, in order to locate the ball which had been returned to the bowler already.

The video of the entertaining back-and-forth between Azam Khan and Mohammad Haris is now getting viral on social media.

While Azam Khan started the tournament with two outstanding half-centuries, his recent form in the ongoing Global T20 Canada has been underwhelming, failing to go beyond 15 runs in the last three matches.
