Kolkata Knight Riders have reinvented themselves in IPL 2024 and after a thumping win by 98 runs against LSG, they have moved to the top of the table. Shreyas Iyer has led the 'Men in Purple and Gold' brilliantly but the man who has caught the most attention is Gautam Gambhir. 

His comeback for the two-time champions have brought a new lease of life in the franchise and the former KKR captain is seen actively involved in chalking out strategies even during the course of the game.

The same was evident in the game against LSG when Mitchell Starc came directly towards Gautam Gambhir and was seen explaining him how he wanted to bowl and how the batter was reacting. 

Gambhir was also seen giving his inputs and was probably not happy with something, and after the discussion between the two, Gambhir was seen talking to Abhishek Nayar with Chandrakant Pandit in attendance too.

Interestingly, Mitchell Starc bowled just two overs and gave away 22 runs which included a wicket of young Arshin Kulkarni. 

Starc's best performance this season has come against Mumbai Indians at Wankhede where he picked four wickets and KKR management would be hoping that the star bowler continues to get better and deliver some big performances in crucial matches coming up.
