During the Punjab Kings (PBKS) versus Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) match, the Punjab side experienced a roller coaster of emotions as they struggled to chase down the formidable score set by RCB at Dharamsala in the IPL 2024.

With consecutive wickets tumbling, the pivotal moment arrived when Harshal Patel departed without scoring a run.

This critical juncture unfolded in the 17th over when RCB's standout pacer, Mohammed Siraj, delivered a decisive blow by dismissing Harshal Patel.

Siraj's delivery, pitched over the wicket, full and angling down the leg side at a blistering speed of 141.5 kmph, led Harshal Patel to flick, attempting to utilize Siraj's pace and angle. 

However, the shot lacked the required elevation as Lockie Ferguson, stationed at deep square leg, swiftly moved to his right and secured a commendable catch.

Despite being hit flat and timed well, Patel couldn't find the necessary height, departing for a golden duck, thereby edging PBKS closer to another defeat.

RCB eventually emerged victorious by a margin of 60 runs, courtesy of stellar performances by Virat Kohli, Rajat Patidar and Cameron Green, thereby eliminating the Punjab Kings from playoff contention. 

Meanwhile, RCB remains in contention for a playoff spot, currently occupying the 7th position in the points table.
