Before the rain interruption, RR had showcased a dominating performance, finding themselves 20 runs ahead of the DLS par score of 41 runs by the end of 6 overs. MI bowlers struggled to contain RR's onslaught as they went berserk in their chase.

However, the rain-induced pause left the fate of the match hanging in the balance, with both teams eager to resume action and secure a favorable outcome. As the weather continues to dictate the course of the game, fans can hope that the sky gets clearer.

Talking about the first innings, MI stumbled early, losing Rohit Sharma, Ishan Kishan, and Suryakumar Yadav within the first 24 balls. Despite the setback, Mohammad Nabi, elevated to No. 5, and Tilak steadied the ship with a 32-run partnership until Nabi succumbed to Yuzvendra Chahal, who made IPL history with his 200th wicket.

MI found themselves in dire straits, but Tilak and Wadhera launched a spirited counterattack. Wadhera's aggressive knock of 49 propelled MI's resurgence, but RR roared back in the death overs, conceding only 18 runs in the final three. Avesh Khan's pinpoint yorkers stifled MI before Sandeep's comeback heroics sealed a five-wicket haul in a thrilling finish. Hence, setting their total to 179.

As of the latest update at 10:45 PM the match has restarted without the loss of any overs. RR needs 119 runs to win off 84 balls.
