Quinton de Kock fell for a three-ball duck on Tuesday (April 23) in Match 39 of IPL 2024 between Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) and Chennai Super Kings (CSK) in Chepauk. The star opener has not been in the best of form in the competition, and it was Deepak Chahar who made sure of the continuation of his torrid phase.

Coming to chase a monumental target of 211, LSG’s openers KL Rahul and Quinton de Kock had to give their side a blistering start. However, they could only get the worst possible result, as de Kock departed without adding any score on the board for LSG.

Taking the new ball as usual, Chahar bowled two dots to de Kock before bowling a full delivery outside the off stump. The South African international tried to slash it, but the ball was angling away from the batter, resulting in him dragging it onto the stumps.

At the time of writing this, LSG have lost KL Rahul as well, as the scoreboard reads 33/2 after 4.4 overs. Marcus Stoinis and impact substitute Devdutt Padikkal are at the crease, on 16* and 0* respectively.
