In the currently underway India-Sri Lanka clash of Asia Cup 2023 at Colombo; India's pace sensation Jasprit Bumrah struck early, sending Sri Lankan batsman Pathum Nissanka back to the pavilion with just seven runs on the board. It was a moment of sheer brilliance, not only from Bumrah but also from wicketkeeper KL Rahul, who showcased his agility behind the stumps with his leaping catch.

Bumrah's delivery, bowled at a back of a length and angling across outside off, forced Nissanka to play at it. The young Sri Lankan batter's defensive attempt ended with a telling edge, and the ball flew towards the waiting gloves of KL Rahul. The Indian wicketkeeper, known for his safe hands, didn't disappoint as he dove to his right to complete a fantastic catch.
