Travis Head, one of the best in the business in white-ball cricket, smashed a 39-ball century on Monday against his former franchise RCB, that too in their own backyard, M.Chinnaswamy Stadium, Bengaluru. The 30-year-old sent each and every RCB bowler all around the park, and the way he celebrated after reaching his first three-digit mark in the competition reminded fans of Chris Gayle.

And of course, Kavya Maran, one of the co-owners of SRH and arguably the biggest supporter of the Orange Army, could not resist herself from giving him a standing ovation for his brilliance.

Head reached the landmark inside 12th over of SRH’s innings, and he sent it towards wide long-on off Vijaykumar Vyshak for a four to get there. After that, the Australian removed his helmet and put it on the top of the bat, while Kavya was elated from the stands to rise and applause.

At the time of writing this, SRH are on a roll, reaching 230/2 after 16.5 overs, with Heinrich Klaasen going strong, batting on 67* off 30 balls.
