In a light-hearted moment during the second Test between Australia and the West Indies at the Gabba, fast bowler Josh Hazlewood humorously 'shooed away' COVID-positive teammate Cameron Green during the team's celebration after the dismissal of Kraigg Brathwaite.

Hazlewood played a pivotal role in sending Brathwaite back to the pavilion for just four runs, marking another success for the Australian bowlers. As the team gathered to celebrate, all-rounder Green, who is currently battling COVID-19, adhered to social distancing guidelines by maintaining a safe distance from his teammates. Despite this, Hazlewood amusingly gestured to shoo Green away during the celebratory moment, adding a touch of humor to the situation.

The COVID-19 saga within the Australian camp started with Travis Head testing positive after the first Test in Adelaide. Although Head has since returned a negative test result, both Cameron Green and head coach Andrew McDonald are still in the process of recovering from the virus.

During the national anthem, Green stood apart from the team as a precautionary measure, maintaining a safe distance. Despite the challenging circumstances, Green was deemed fit to play as long as he followed the necessary guidelines.

In the first Test, Green faced a tough outing in his new role at No. 4, scoring 14 runs off 27 deliveries. The all-rounder's presence in the team remains significant, and his ability to adapt to the challenges presented by COVID-19 showcases the resilience of the Australian squad in these testing times.
