Virat Kohli has been in great form in IPL 2024 and has been notching big scores one after another. He looked in great touch against Delhi Capitals as well in the 62nd match of the season and smashed 27 off just 13 balls, before being outfoxed by his good friend Ishant Sharma.

It was the fourth over of the match, and on the initial two deliveries, Kohli smashed Ishant for 10 runs with a four and a six. However, on the fourth delivery, Ishant bowled a length delivery, outside off. Kohli tried to work it towards the off side, but got the outside edge and Abishek Porel behind the stumps made no mistake as he grabbed a sharp catch.

Interestingly, Ishant Sharma decided to tease his old friend as Kohli was walking off the field and gave him a good competitive shoulder with big smile on his face.

It was an important wicket for Delhi Capitals and RCB were reduced to 36-2 in the fourth over. However, Rajat Patidar joined Will Jacks and the two delivered a brilliant counter-attacking punch to keep and RCB went onto cross the 100-run mark in the 9th over of the match.
