Ishan Kishan is one of the most talented wicketkeeper batters in Indian cricket but has been battling form issues in the ongoing IPL 2024. In the 9 innings so far, he has scored just 212 runs with an average of 23.56. In the 43rd match of the season between DC and MI, he once again failed to deliver and departed on 20 off just 14 balls.

His wicket came on the first delivery of the fifth over and it was a back-of-a-length delivery from Mukesh Kumar. Ishan Kishan made a bit of room and advanced down the track to slap it, he miscued it badly though and the ball looped up in the air towards mid off. Axar Patel there took an easy catch, and Ishan Kishan walked back disappointed after throwing away another start.

The T20 World Cup 2024 selection is just around the corner, and these strong of low scores are not helping Ishan Kishan's cause.
