Haris Rauf is one of the top bowlers in the world and his ability to generate raw pace and bamboozle opponents has made him a hot asset over the years. However, he has not been in his elements since World Cup 2023 and is now proving costly in PSL as well.
In Lahore Qalandars' second game of PSL 2024, he was hammered for 47 in his four overs which included two sixes in a single over from youngster Khawaja Nafay.
The right-handed batter scored a brilliant 60 off 31 balls and took apart Lahore's star-studded bowling attack with ease and flair.
Haris Rauf though was the most expensive bowler and was launched for two glorious sixes by Nafay in the 11th over of Quetta Gladiators' chase.
The first delivery of the over was the length ball on off. Nafay moved across to his right and just flicked it with great swag as the ball sailed over deep backward square leg fence for a 97-metre boundary.
The second six came on the fifth delivery when Haris Rauf bowled a short delivery and way outside off. Khawaja Nafay picked the length quickly and played an upper cut as the ball went over the third man fence.

These two games would be a rude wake-up call for Haris Rauf who was already under the pump for his issues with PCB and indifferent form in recent times. Quetta Gladiators registered five-wicket win over Lahore Qalandars in the fourth game of the season and have made it two in a row with impressive all-round performance.
