When Fakhar Zaman plays at his usual best, there are only a few who can look as destructive as him. Similarly, during Lahore Qalandars’ PSL 2024 fixture against Multan Sultans on Wednesday, the southpaw took all the attention after he came to open the innings at Multan Cricket Stadium.

At the end of 10 overs, Fakhar made 32 off 24 balls with the help of two sixes and as many fours. And undoubtedly, the best shot of the day, if not in the competition, came during the fifth over of the innings, and Shahnawaz Dahani was the one who was at the receiving end.

Dahani bowled a length delivery towards the stumps, and Fakhar was ready for it. The Pakistan opener pulled it high above the sky, and the connection, despite it was not too perfect, took the ball way over deep backward square leg into the crowd for six runs.
