Since his transfer in the Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB), Yash Dayal has started to come good in the Indian Premier League. Playing his fourth game for the franchise, the fast bowler has become a killer bowler for them with both new and older balls.

Against Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) at Chinnaswamy on Tuesday, Dayal bowled an exceptional spell of 1/24, where he snapped an important wicket of Ayush Badoni in the death overs. However, the highlight of that wicket was the flying effort put in by RCB skipper, Faf du Plessis, at mid-off.

On the last ball of his spell, the left-arm seamer bowled a back-of-the-hand slower delivery at shorter length, angling away from Badoni - who tried swatting over the inner-ring for a boundary.

Unfortunately for the LSG batter, du Plessis - stationed at mid-off - ran backwards and took a superman-esque grab. After his exceptional efforts, even Glenn Maxwell could not control his emotions and gave his skipper a tight hug.

Earlier in the chase, Quinton de Kock slammed a blistering 81 runs off 56 balls, taking LSG's total to 181-5. The South African opener's cause was very nicely assisted by Nicholas Pooran, who gave a firm finishing touch with his 21-ball 40.
