Prominent Indian batter Suryakumar Yadav had an impressive outing in Mumbai Indians' ongoing IPL 2024 encounter against Sunrisers Hyderabad at the iconic Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai. 

Coming at number four, the explosive batter struck a breezy knock, bailing MI out of trouble after they had a top-order collapse. 

The experienced cricketer took a particular liking for ace SRH seamer Marco Jansen as he smashed him for twenty runs in boundaries in an over. 

The incident took place in the seventh over when Suryakumar was trying to rebuild MI's innings alongside Tilak Varma. Jansen started his over with a full length delivery, which SKY dispatched with authority for a boundary. 

He followed it up with a gorgeous straight drive before hitting two massive sixes through his trademark ramp shot over the square leg fence.

The batter's fireworks not only stunned Jansen but also became a source of happiness for his wife Devisha Shetty, who enjoyed her husband's blistering hitting. 

Earlier, SRH posted a 173-run total, thanks to valuable contributions from skipper Pat Cummins apart from Travis Head, who was outfoxed by Piyush Chawla for 48. 

Chasing the target, MI had the worst possible start, with the SRH pacers getting their top-order cheaply. 

As of writing, the hosts were 108 for three, with Suryakumar and Tilak batting on 50* and 26*, respectively.
