In a crucial IPL match between Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) and Lucknow Super Giants (LSG), Devdutt Padikkal's exceptional fielding prowess was on full display, as his 'laser' throw led to the dismissal of RCB captain Faf du Plessis. 

The match, which had already seen the early departure of top-order batsmen Kohli and Maxwell, took a significant turn with Padikkal's accurate throw.

Du Plessis, found himself at the receiving end of Padikkal's brilliance. Attempting a risky run, du Plessis fell victim to Padikkal's precision, being run out for 19 runs off 13 deliveries. Padikkal's throw from the outfield hit the stumps directly, leaving du Plessis nowhere near the crease.

The run-out of du Plessis added to RCB's woes, with the team struggling at 50/3 after the dismissals of key players like Kohli, and as I write even, Maxwell, that too for a duck. With their top-order batters back in the pavilion, RCB faces an uphill task to secure victory in the match.
