[Watch] Babar Azam's 'Lone-Warrior' Effort Of 72 In PSL Leads To Heartbreaking End

Babar Azam is known for his consistency and is showing that again in PSL 2024 with back-to-back fifties to kick off ninth edition. However, no other batter supported him and Babar finally departed on 72 on the last delivery of the 18th over as Peshawar Zalmi were bowled out for 154 against Karachi Kings.

Babar Azam scored seven fours and hit a glorious six as well, as he held one end up with wickets falling at regular intervals from other end. Mir Hamza was the one who got the wicket of Babar Azam which probably made a difference of at least 20 runs to the final score.

It was a slower fullish delivery, around off and Peshawar captain, Babar Azam tried to nudge it towards the leg side for a single in a bid to retain the strike for the next over. However, he ended up playing the ball a tad early and the ball went aerially towards the bowler who took a good low catch.
