Gulbarga Mystics got off to a good start as they defeated Bengaluru Blasters by six wickets in their first outing to mark the start of their title defending campaign. However, they failed drastically to sustain the winning form as the likes of Hubli Tigers, Shivamogga Lions and Mysore Warriors handed Gulbarga three losses on the trot.

As a result, they are currently placed fifth in the league standings with only two points. In their last game, Gulbarga gave away the game from a winning position as they fell prey to some magnificent death overs batting from the Shivamogga’s lower order.

Captain Vyshak will be hoping his side to not repeat the same mistakes and get themselves back up from the adversity. Gulbarga will be keen to break their losing streak and get back into winning ways before its too late.

Mangaluru Dragons

On the other hand, Mangaluru Dragons’ campaign has been full of peaks and valleys. They are currently sitting in the middle of the points table with two wins out of the four games they played.

The Dragons defeated a strong Bengaluru Blasters in their last game and will be hoping to sustain their winning form in their next match. Krishnappa Gowtham and his men have done well in patches but will be hoping to maintain a better consistency.
