Despite losing their T20 World Cup qualifying game against Zimbabwe, Ireland skipper Andrew Balbirnie has insisted that his side will continue to play the aggressive brand of cricket in their remaining two matches.

Ireland will face off against Scotland in their next fixture and the skipper seems confident before this crucial contest.

"We are going to have to play aggressive cricket for the next two games, we are chasing the group. But the beauty is I suppose is that we won the first game last year and didn't get through. So hopefully we can flip that this year and go through," he said.

Despite the early hiccups, Zimbabwe managed to post a healthy 174 for seven against Ireland and Balbirnie feels that it was a par total and he was comfortable chasing it.

"I thought the later guys tried to put some impetus into the innings, but we just weren't able to recover from that and the early wickets were the sucker blow," Balbirnie opined.

A big match awaits the Irish team and Balbirnie would hope that his side can bring their A game against a quality Scotland side.
